Google Nexus One To Tie Up With T-Mobile 3G, Edge On AT&T Without MultiTouch Support

The Nexus One is getting more and more attention as the days go on due to its rumored features that could really make it an iPhone killer (no, really. We promise.)

Though photos are limited, there have been reviews from Google employees who have been given the chance to test the phone and they have generously shared plenty of details. According to them, it is extremely thin, even thinner than an iPhone. Score. It is also confirmed that it works on T-Mobile 3G, but only EDGE on AT&T. The test phone came with a 4GB micro-sd card installed, but it’s not confirmed if this will be in the official model and its battery’s capacity is 1400 mAh, which many believe it won’t be sufficient for such a device. (Damnit. Dealbreaker?)

The screen seems to be OLED (update: it’s not), there’s no dedicated camera key on the phone, and it feels faster than Droid. This new Android phone also appears to be heading its way to T-mobile, which is great for them and their subscribers, not so much for the rest of us who like to get this phone through another carrier. What’s missing in this new and much awaited phone is that it lacks multitouch support in the browser and maps. Though the Google Apps tested don’t respond to multitouch, the OS and hardware are presumably multitouch capable.

Can’t wait to find out more!
